Zandile graduated from the University of Cape Town, with a National Diploma in Speech and Drama.
She has worked as a presenter for television (Heita and Sistahood), acted in television commercials (CellC, Nedbank, Woolworths, Cadburys) and has done many voice-over’s for TV and radio.
She has been able to hone her art by acting in many corporate, industrial, musical and children’s theatre productions. She has worked for Chris Weare, Martinus Basson and Janice Honeyman amongst others.
Zandile has featured in various roles for television (Home – Affairs, Backstage, Soul City and Society.) Since then she has followed her passion and continuously challenged herself, she ventured into the world of film (Unrequited Love, Beyond Berlin and White Wedding).
She has worked extensively in Johannesburg and Cape Town, in front of the camera and in studios. She travels to various Festivals around the Country and she still maintains that she is mostly in her element, when she is on stage! In 2010 she performed in the play, Ten Bush, which had a successful run in Germany.
She has been nominated for two awards: the 2011 Naledi Awards as Best Supporting Actress for the play, The Pen; and the 2011 SAFTA awards in the category Best Ensemble for the TV series Society.
Zandile currently appears in the ETV daily drama series Rhythm City.
