Elton Landrew has been involved in the industry for 10 years .

Elton is a South African actor born in Nababeep-Namaqualand. He is best known for his roles in the David Kramer/Taliep Pietersen musicals District Six and Kat and the Kings.

After originally playing the Young Kat Diamond in Kat and the Kings, which toured South Africa, Germany, Austria and Holland, he later played the role of Magoo in the same production. He also had a leading role in District Six: The Musical.

From2006 to 2008 he appeared in the following television productions:          Egoli, Sewende Laan, Dryfsand, Scandal, Zero Tolerance, House of Love.He played the lead (uncle Billy) in the mini-drama series, Once Upon a Krismas. Elton appeared in the feature film, Forgiveness (starring Arnold Vosloo).

After playing the international stages he made an indomitable impression on the Johannesburg theatre audiences in productions such as April Fool?s Child for theSibikwa Theatre, Playboys and Verwagtinge at theKKNK Festival, the Sello Duiker story directed by Ashraf Jamal, Quiet Violence of dreams for the Grahamstown Festival . He was applauded for the roles he portrayed at the Market Theatre in the plays, Black Dogz and Amen Corner.

In 2008 he was invited by Janice Honeyman to perform in the Baxter Theatre production, The Tempest, which toured to England and was staged at the Courtyard Theatre, Stratford-Upon-Avon in 2009.

Elton wrote and directed the memorable theatre happening, Journey to Kannaland for the KKNK/ Karos en Kambro festival. This resulted in a follow-up production in 2010 at the same festival.
