Biography:
In high school Angelique took Speech & Drama as a subject and won the Best Actress Award for two One Act Play Festivals, first for the role of ‘Carol’ in Olleana and then for the role of ‘Ginny’ in the comedy For Whom the Southern Bell Tolls. In her matric year she won the Best Actress Award at the RAPS Festival (Repertory Amateur Players Society) for her performance in Death and the Maiden.
After school she completed a Theatre & Performance (Honours) Degree at UCT and in her final year of study she was named Best Bilingual Student. She took on various theatre roles in university plays, including ‘Ophelia’ in Geoffrey Highland’s Hamlet and ‘Miriam’ in Chris Weare’s Mephisto, which travelled to the Grahamstown Festival. In her spare time she acted in student short-films and shot several international commercials.
Angelique has since become an experienced performer in television, film, theatre and voice. After graduating she performed in a multi-media one-woman show, called Yskas, which travelled to the KKNK and Cape Town. She recently returned from the Grahamstown Festival where she performed a comedy called Done London.
She had television roles in Egoli, Kruispad, Villa Rosa, Snitch 2, House of Love, Madam & Eve, High Rollers, Binneland and Black Sails 2. Her feature films include Bloedspoor, Tornado, Rough, Winnie and Lien se Lankstaanskoene. Her voice has also been used for a plethora of radio and television commercials in both English and Afrikaans.
Angelique leads an active lifestyle and has good control of her body. She has a good singing voice (soprano) and a good ear for accents.
Angelique has also been nominated for the competition, FHM 100 most sexiest woman.
